How many starters were injured early on? The opposing offenses take advantage of weaknesses, i.e., positions where starters are out, which in turn limits or disrupts the defensive scheme. Suggs didn't produce the stats he had from previous years because he had to take up some slack from those weeker positions. Apparently, Suggs is not expendable if the rumor holds true of the franchise tag.
